Benefits to Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF)
- Develop systems to ensure an integrated and coordinated approach.
- Facilitate communications between GP and the RACF.
- Ensure on going Federal funding for RACF through assisting GP's in the completion of Enhanced Primary Care Initiatives.
- Provide health professionals who are appropriately qualified with current registration including Aged Care Criminal History checks.
- Facilitation of a service model that is responsive to the specific needs of culturally diverse and geographically dispersed communities.
